If you were not in fact aware that there is a TV show called From, you were not alone. But there is! And now it’s getting a second season!

No matter how you use the title in a sentence it looks kind of wrong, but the show itself has an intriguing premise: From stars Harold Perrineau (in a reunion with two Lost producers, Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner) as a gentleman stuck in “a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter.”

Naturally, the town is surrounded by a creepy forest—and said forest is full of creepy things that only come out at night. From is created by John Griffin, and is on its way to becoming Epix’s second-most-watched original series (after Godfather of Harlem). Its long list of producers also includes Anthony and Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame).

In season two, Epix says, “hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.” Which is very vague! And also ominous!

From‘s ensemble cast also includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (Falling Skies), Eion Bailey (The Stand), Hannah Cheramy (Van Helsing), and Ricky He (The Magicians). Season two is expected to start filming this summer and air sometime next year—but the ten episodes of the first season are now available for your viewing pleasure.
